Today’s modern bride is looking for more personality, more uniqueness and more passion. As it so happens, that’s what I want out of my photography! When paired together with the same vision, you’ll be amazed at what we can accomplish! My hope is to bring a sense of energy and movement that showcases your relationship in a way that highlights your interests as well as your heart.

Hi! I’m Jon
I’m not very good at focusing on myself. And the thought of a bio that is just about me, and not necessarily my work, is unnerving. But if we’re to become friends, the flow of information has to begin somewhere; that might as well be with me! But you have to promise to go next (thinking positively).
I live in the middle of nowhere. Sounds like the opening line to a book, but it’s true! The village of Swaffham Prior has about 700 people. I love the solitude of remote living because It’s a great place to think and sketch out ideas for new imagery. But I don’t stay in solitude for long! My love, Dee, and our little boy, Jacob, happily fill the quiet with laughter (amongst other various and sundry noises).
I love meeting people, hearing their stories, asking them questions and basically being a good listener. It’s amazing what I’ve learned just by keeping my trap closed. When I travel alone this is a favourite passtime. You should try it sometime!
I have a background in Mechanical Engineering. This strengthened the part of my brain that loves analyses. I guess that’s why I can’t walk through a mall without looking at the window shop art and breaking down their lighting set-ups. If you think that’s a bit odd, let me chase that thought by letting you know I also love to build things with my hands. That makes me more of a man’s man, yes?
Basically, I’m just a regular chap who who enjoys people and enjoys creating. And that’s what I’d like to offer you. Your turn.

What do i do?
Wedding photography
Commercial photography
There aren’t a lot of photographers who can say that they truly love corporate work, but I’m one of them. I think it’s because I’ve taken a different approach than many. The face of a business should be as individual and unique as that of a bride. I bring my creative, modern approach into all areas of my work, not just to weddings. When it comes to business head shots, I work in a fun, relaxed way in order to bring out the real personalities of you and your employees. When photographing your products or work site, my goal is to bring a 21st century feel, rather than maintaining the status-quo. Whether through lighting, angles or simplicity, my services are geared to showcase your business in the best way possible.

Lake Como, Italy Wedding // Diane & Andrew // pt 1
Visit the blogDiane & Andrew’s Lake Como Wedding was so epic, it’s in 2 instalments!
I was pumped about this wedding for a few reasons. Firstly I would be returning to Lake Como for the wedding of Diane and Andrew. If you don’t know this hidden gem in Italy, it is without doubt one of the most beautiful places I’ve been lucky enough to visit. Secondly a good friend of mind, Katie Merkle would be joining me all the way from Baltimore in the US. She is a seriously talented documentary photographer. This is going to be FUN!The day started off at the luxury apartments of Tremezzo Residence. Being a small wedding, only 17 guests, everyone was able to stay at the same address. Diane, Andrew and their families and friends were a pleasure to work with, I say work, it didn’t feel like it, the first thing I did was accept an espresso from the best man
You guys made us feel so welcome, thank you.Lets start off with a few shots of the preparations, the views are to die for. We also had a double rainbow the evening before, it was a Carlsberg kind of wedding!

This is a wedding full of surprises, Diane announced she was driving herself to the ceremony at Villa Olmo. Along with her 2 bridesmaids they took off in the little Fiat 500c. The rest of use tagged behind and arrived at Villa Olmo ready for the ceremony up on the hill at the Temple.Villa Balbianello
After the ceremony and champagne the bridal party boarded a speedboat to take us to the amazing Villa Balbianello.
That’s it for part 1 – more in part 2 with stunning portraits from Villa Balbianello and some back streets of Lenno finishing with chilled out reception at the beach club, Lido do Lenno.
Just want to thanks Diane & Andrew for trusting me with your wedding and to the awesome Katie Merkle coming all the way out from Maryland
